Recognizing Canadas’ Climate Champions

VMCC is proud to share that co-Founder Bryan Buggey has been recognized by the British High Commission and Canadian Climate Law Initiative as one of 26 Canadian Climate Champions. These are exceptional individuals helping to build a net-zero future. It’s star-studded list includes the current Canadian Minister of Infrastructure and Communities and former Environment Minister, The Honorable Catherine McKenna as well as renowned environmentalist David Suzuki, Co-Founder of the David Suzuki Foundation.

The announcement came during an event held on Tuesday May 4th 2021 to mark the six-month lead-up to the upcoming UN Climate Conference held in Glasgow, UK (COP26) which celebrated the many exceptional individuals that work tirelessly towards achieving net-zero and the next steps in our global efforts to tackle climate change.
