Thank you for attending GreenShip 2025
On behalf of the Vancouver Maritime Centre for Climate, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to each of you for joining us at the 4th Annual GreenShip Conference. Your participation made this year’s gathering an engaging affair as we walked through some very compelling presentations and important discussions.
This year, we were thrilled to welcome over 150 leaders, innovators and stakeholders from across the maritime ecosystem —spanning industry, business, government, academia, shipbuilding, energy providers, and port communities. The diversity of voices created an atmosphere of true collaboration and the "wow" factor that things are actually getting done, despite what we read in the media these days. As one attendee reflected, it was “a fascinating and stimulating day… lots of cross-pollination as the marine sector works hard to improve its environmental footprint and reduce greenhouse gas emissions”. Another participant highlighted how refreshing it was to see citizen voices alongside industry experts, noting that “seemingly small improvements collectively go a long way”. Your participation and contributions helped advance our shared mission of accelerating maritime decarbonization.
